Super Bowl LXI will be played on February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. It will air on ESPN and ABC, the first Super Bowl on ABC since Super Bowl XL in 2006 and the first ESPN has ever produced.
In Pittsburgh, ABC means WTAE. That puts the most-watched television event of the year on the station Pittsburgh already turns to for news, weather and Steelers coverage.
The game is eleven weeks away. The planning window is now.
01 | The One Night Everyone Watches Together
Few events still bring an entire market to the same screen at the same time. The Super Bowl does. Friends gather, families host and even casual fans tune in for the game, the halftime show and the commercials.
It's also one of the only broadcasts where viewers actively look forward to the ads.
02 | Local Brands Can Own a National Moment
National advertisers pay millions for a spot in the game. Local businesses can reach Pittsburgh viewers in the same environment, surrounded by the same excitement, at a local scale.
And the opportunity isn't limited to the game itself. Pregame coverage, local news throughout Super Bowl week and digital coverage all carry the same energy.
03 | Super Bowl Week Is Bigger Than Sunday
ESPN is building a full week of coverage from a broadcast center on Santa Monica Beach starting Monday, February 8. Interest builds all week and carries into the Monday after.
A campaign that spans the whole week, across broadcast, streaming and digital, gets far more than a single moment of visibility.
04 | Creative Deserves Extra Time
Super Bowl audiences notice ads. That makes it worth investing in creative that's clear, memorable and made for a big screen with a full room watching.
Starting now gives you time to plan, produce and refine, instead of rushing a spot through in late January.
Start Planning Before the Season Ends
Super Bowl LXI is a rare chance for Pittsburgh businesses to be part of the year's biggest broadcast on their hometown ABC station. The brands that plan early get the best placement and the best creative.
